Terms & Conditions
Here's the deal in human language: book with confidence, cancel up to 48 hours out for free, bring ID, play fair, and we'll do right by you. The details below are the same thing, just numbered.
Bookings & cancellations
These terms cover every booking with Travel Adventure Casino Pty Ltd — rooms, the conference hall, and private event hires. By confirming a booking, you're agreeing to what's on this page.
- Rooms: no deposit needed. Cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before check-in (14:00 on arrival day). Inside 48 hours, the first night is charged.
- Event hires: conference hall and private lounge bookings need a 20% deposit to lock the date. The deposit is refundable up to 14 days before the event.
- No-shows: if you don't arrive and don't cancel, the first night (or the event deposit) is forfeit — the room sat empty for you.
- Changes: date changes are free where we have availability — just ask as early as you can.
House rules
We're a small venue and we keep it friendly. A few firm rules keep it that way:
- 18+ on the gaming floor. Photo ID is checked at check-in and at the lounge door — no exceptions, no matter how old you look or how nicely you ask.
- Smart-casual on the floor. No dress-code drama — just no thongs, singlets, or work hi-vis in the gaming lounge after 18:00.
- Responsible play. Set a budget before you sit down. Self-exclusion is available at the desk — ask and it's done, quietly and permanently if you want.
- Everything happens in person. We are a 100% offline venue — there is no online gambling, streaming, or remote play of any kind.
- Right to refuse service. We can refuse entry or service to anyone who is intoxicated, abusive, or breaking house rules — and we'll call you a cab, not leave you on the kerb.
Payments & the bill
Rooms are paid at checkout; event deposits are invoiced when you book. We take all major cards, EFTPOS, and cash. Prices on this site and in our quotes are in Australian dollars and include GST.
- A card pre-authorisation is taken at check-in for incidentals — released on checkout.
- Itemised receipts are standard. Corporate accounts can be invoiced monthly by arrangement.
- Gaming lounge chips are bought and redeemed at the cashier window inside the lounge, during lounge hours (10:00–02:00).
Liability & changes
A few honest lines about where responsibility sits:
- Your belongings: rooms have a safe — use it. We take care of the building, but we can't accept liability for valuables left unattended.
- Parking: the car park is free and lit, but vehicles are parked at the owner's risk.
- Gaming: gambling involves risk of loss. Only play with what you can afford — our team can point you to support services any time, no judgement.
- Changes to these terms: we may update this page; the version posted here applies to bookings made after the update date. Bookings already confirmed keep the terms they were made under.
- Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
