The People Behind the Tables

Travel Adventure Casino started as one man's hunch: a boutique hotel should feel like a home, and a gaming lounge should feel like a dinner party with cards. Ten years later, 41,200 guests have walked through the door at 159 Biota St and most of them come back.

How we got here

A decade of doing things the long way

No shortcuts, no apps, no silent renovations. Every chapter happened in front of the same regulars who still wave at Marcus from the bar.

  1. 2016

    Marcus buys the building

A 12-room motel in Inala becomes the first Travel Adventure Casino. The lounge is a single room with three tables and a very loud espresso machine.

  2. 2018

    The members-only gaming lounge

We add a private gaming floor, build the brass bar, and quietly start a tradition: your first drink is on the house if the dealer remembers your name.

  3. 2020

The quiet year became a paint job

With the venue paused, we renovated every room, rewired the building, and trained the team on the one rule that matters: make it personal.

  4. 2022

    Conference hall opens

A 120-seat hall with full AV, breakout space, and a catering menu that accidentally became famous for the Sunday roast.

  5. 2024

    Penthouse floor

We built four top-floor suites with private terraces. The elevator now has a button that says "Best View in Inala." We mean it.

  6. 2026

    Today

64 rooms, 18 tables, 40 machines, a restaurant, a bar, and one private gaming lounge that fits 30 friends for a night they won't forget.

Same address, bigger story: 159 Biota St, Inala QLD 4077.

What we believe

No screens. Just tables.

"The best bet is the one placed across from a real person, with a real drink, in a room where the phone goes in your pocket."

Marcus Delaney

We built this place for face-to-face hospitality. Beds upstairs, tables downstairs, and zero tolerance for pretending the internet is a casino.

Real tables

18 tables, actual chips, human dealers.

Real beds

64 rooms where the sheets get changed every day.

Real people

Staff who remember your drink and your name.

The faces

A small team with big standards

We don't hide behind call centres. If you stay, eat, play, or celebrate here, one of these four will make sure it runs smoothly.

"Booked a single room for a work thing. Left with a dealer's number, a new favourite steak, and a conference hall already pencilled in for my sister's wedding."

This weekend?

Come see it in person.

The best way to understand what we do is to walk through the front door, shake a dealer's hand, and order a drink at the brass bar.
