Privacy Policy
Here's the deal in human language: we collect the bare minimum needed to confirm your booking and check you in, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it. The longer version is below — still written for humans.
What we collect
When you send us a message through the booking or contact form, we get whatever you type in: your name, email address, phone number if you add it, and the message itself. That's the whole list for the website.
At the venue it's a little different, because the law says so. When you check into a room or register for the gaming lounge we record your name and sight a photo ID — a licence or passport — as required for guest registers and licensed gaming venues in Queensland. We note the ID type and number; we don't photocopy it.
- Website forms: name, email, optional phone, your message.
- Check-in & lounge registration: name and ID details, as legally required.
- Payments: processed by our payment terminal — card numbers never touch our systems.
How we use it
One job: to run the hotel. Your details are used to confirm bookings, answer your messages, prepare your check-in, and meet our legal obligations as a licensed venue.
A few things we want to be blunt about:
- We never sell your personal information. Not to anyone, not for any price.
- We don't run marketing lists. You won't get a newsletter you didn't ask for.
- We don't share details with third parties except where the law requires it — for example, a lawful request from Queensland authorities.
- There's no online account, no profiling, no tracking you around the internet.
Cookies, briefly
This site uses a tiny number of cookies: one that remembers whether you accepted or declined the consent banner, and anonymous page statistics so we can tell which pages people actually read. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers.

You can withdraw consent any time — the banner explains how, or just email us and we'll flag it on our side.
Retention & security
Booking enquiries are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Guest register and gaming-related records are kept for the period Queensland law requires — after that, they're destroyed, not archived "just in case".
On the security side: the website runs over encrypted connections, form submissions go to a single monitored mailbox, and physical records live in a locked office behind the front desk. Access is limited to the duty manager and the venue owner — Travel Adventure Casino Pty Ltd (ABN 63 742 118 905).
No system is bulletproof, and we won't pretend otherwise. If something ever goes wrong with your data, we'll tell you straight and tell you fast.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email traveladventurecasino@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request" and we'll action it within 30 days — usually much faster.
- Access: we'll send you a copy of what we hold.
- Correction: wrong name or old email? We'll fix it.
- Deletion: we'll remove what we legally can — some register entries must be kept by law, and we'll tell you if that's the case.
If you're not happy with how we handle a request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner — though we'd honestly rather you gave us the chance to fix it first.
