Restaurant & Brass Bar

The Brass Table feeds you from sunrise eggs to a midnight rib-eye, and the Brass Bar keeps pouring while the tables run downstairs. Real kitchen, real cellar, zero pokies in the dining room.

The Brass Table

Everything is cooked in-house by a team that's been here since we opened in 2016. No frozen shortcuts, no microwaved excuses — just a menu that knows what it's doing.

07:00–10:30

Hot Breakfast

Eggs any way, proper bacon, sourdough, barista coffee. Free for hotel guests — the easiest decision you'll make all day.

12:00–23:00

All-Day Mains

The signature rib-eye and a locally sourced barramundi lead a menu of steaks, salads and comfort classics done right.

Sundays

Sunday Roast

Slow-roasted beef or lamb, Yorkshire puddings, gravy you could write home about. Book ahead — it sells out most weeks.

Family

Kids Menu

Smaller plates, zero fuss. Families are welcome in the dining room until 20:00 — gaming areas stay strictly 18+.

Chef's pick

The rib-eye that built the reputation

Ask anyone in Inala where to get a steak and they'll point here. Our rib-eye is dry-aged for 28 days, finished over flame, and served with bone-marrow butter and hand-cut chips. The barramundi runs it close — line-caught, pan-roasted, lemon myrtle beurre blanc.

  • 28-day dry-aged Queensland beef
  • Line-caught barramundi, never farmed-frozen
  • Vegetarian and gluten-free mains that aren't an afterthought

Brass Bar

Pours while the tables run

The bar stays open as long as the gaming floor does — last orders at 01:30. Local Queensland wines, a rotating craft beer tap list, and classic cocktails made by people who measure. If you're celebrating a win or softening a loss, this is where it happens.

One house rule worth knowing: there are no pokies in the dining room. Dinner stays dinner.

The rhythm

A day of eating here

Kitchen opens before the sun does much of anything, and the bar is still shaking cocktails when most of Brisbane has gone to bed. Here's how a full day plays out.

Evening atmosphere inside The Brass Table dining room
07:00

Breakfast fires up

Hot buffet and cooked-to-order eggs until 10:30. Free for hotel guests, $24 for walk-ins. Coffee is non-negotiable and very good.

12:00

Lunch service begins

The all-day menu kicks in — barramundi, burgers, salads. Quick enough for a work lunch, good enough that you'll stay for a glass of wine.

18:00

Dinner rush

Rib-eye time. The dining room fills with hotel guests, locals and the occasional anniversary table. Bookings recommended after 19:00.

23:00

Nightcap hour

Kitchen closes, room service ends, and the crowd drifts to the Brass Bar. Cocktails and conversation until last orders at 01:30.

Before you come

The practical bits, sorted

Nothing complicated. Three things people usually ask about, answered straight.

Reservations

Walk-ins are welcome, but Friday and Saturday nights book out fast. Reserve through the contact page or at reception — a human confirms every table.

Dietary needs

Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, allergies — tell us when you book and the kitchen builds around it. We'd rather know early than improvise at the pass.

Dress code

Smart casual works everywhere. Thongs and singlets are fine at breakfast, less fine at dinner. The private gaming lounge asks for a collar after 18:00.

Staying with us? Room service runs from the same kitchen until 23:00 — order from your room and skip the shoes entirely.

Restaurant Bar Room service

Yes — every room rate includes the full hot breakfast from 07:00 to 10:30. Non-guests can join for $24 a head.

Absolutely — the kids menu runs all day and families are welcome in the dining room until 20:00. Gaming areas, including the bar after 21:00, are strictly 18+.

No — and that's deliberate. The dining room is for eating and talking. All 40 machines live in a separate soundproofed wing, well away from your dinner.

The all-day menu runs until 23:00, and room service takes last orders at the same time. After that the Brass Bar has bar snacks until close at 01:30.

Hungry yet?

The rib-eye won't wait forever.
Neither will the best table.

Tell us when and how many — we'll have the table set and the wine list ready. Want to see the rest of the place first? The whole venue is on the services page.
